2010 Legislative Breakfast Series

The Johnson County Public Policy Council, which is comprised of nine Johnson County area chambers and the Greater KC Chamber of Commerce, sponsors the annual Legislative Breakfast Series to enhance the communication and exchange of information between the business community and the Johnson County state legislative delegation. Legislators will offer legislative updates and discuss issues. Breakfast is served promptly at 7:30 a.m. Casual attire is recommended.

Featured Senators and Representatives: Senator Karin Brownlee; Representatives Lisa Benlon, Ray Merrick, Jill Quigley and Arlen Siegfreid

Individual admissions are $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. The discounted Chamber member package price for all five breakfasts is $95 when paid by noon on January 19.

Theo Felts, MD, joins Town Plaza Family Practice

Theo Felts, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician has joined Town Plaza Family Practice and the medical staff of Menorah Medical Center. Dr. Felts will provide comprehensive care at Town Plaza’s new after-hours clinic. The clinic, open evenings and weekends, was established to deliver experienced, board-certified quality care for Johnson County residents when they need it after hours.

Dr. Felts brings 15 years of primary and urgent care experience to the new clinic. He has practiced at urgent care centers throughout the Kansas City area and has specific clinical expertise in wellness and health maintenance, procedures and minor surgery. He received his medical degree from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine and completed his residency at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. Dr. Felts is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Missouri/Kansas Academy of Family
Physicians and is licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.

Town Plaza Family Practice provides medical services for the entire family, from expectant mothers and infants to children and teens to adults and seniors. The practice accepts all major insurance plans and offers same and next day appointments.
