Bootstrapping represents one of the surest routes to success for many entrepreneurs....
In fact, there have been many great American businesses launched with less than $20,000. So how does one go about bootstrapping? Does it mean you need to build desks out of doors and sawhorses? Or, is it something more? Our Bootstrapping Your Business Workshop will provide you with many proven bootstrapping techniques that will allow you to build on your “street smarts” while stretching your dollars. Also, the second half of the workshop includes a panel discussion with successful local entrepreneurs who share their strategies for bootstrapping success.

You are invited to City Union Mission’s virtual Celebrate Hope Banquet. Join us online October 5th through October 11th, as we Celebrate Hope!
This will be our 3rd "virtual" web banquet for the homeless! This is a way for you, your friends, and your business to provide hope for Kansas City's men, women, and children who are poor or homeless. This years' goal is to raise $3.5 million by January 31, 2009.
We will be sharing with you testimonies, ministry updates, and award recipients, all without the added expense of renting a location, and the associated speaker and audiovisual costs.
“Donors were telling us that they didn’t need another banquet to go to. They preferred more of their funds to go towards feeding the poor & homeless, rather than towards the escalating costs of a hotel and speaker. Now this is truly a Banquet for the poor & homeless! Frankly we are always amazed and grateful for the generosity of people in Kansas City. Every year they prove their heart for the less fortunate,” said Dan Doty, Executive Director at City Union Mission.
For more information, please call Cara Madden directly at 816.329.1497 or visit www.cityunionmission.org.

We apologize for the error and inconvenience.
