Featured Chamber Benefit of the Month - Increase Your Visibility via the Online Member Profile!

The Chamber wants to ensure that our member businesses make the most of their Chamber membership investment. In order for that happen, it is our job to inform members about all the things the Chamber can assist with in promoting and marketing your business.

Hence, the Chamber will be highlighting one member benefit each month. One of the most popular sayings around the Chamber is, "You will get out of it, as much as you put into it." This proves to be the case time and time again. Read on to find out more about this month's highlighted benefit and make sure you are taking advantage of it!

One marketing benefit that the Chamber makes available to its members is advertising via the online Member Profile. By filling out a brief online form, members have the chance to have their logo displayed on the homepage of www.leawoodchamber.org for up to three weeks, as well as a lead-in sentence describing their business. Visitors can then click on the [more] icon to read a brief description of the member business.

Wait… it gets better! Not only is the Member Profile displayed on the homepage of the Chamber’s website, it is also featured in the Chamber’s e-newsletter, the Member Memo that goes out on Friday’s to more than 1,500 email addresses. AT&T Launches new 4G/LTE network

This Sunday, Nov. 20, AT&T* will turn on its 4G LTE network in Kansas City, including Leawood, bringing customers the latest generation of wireless network technology.

AT&T 4G LTE provides several benefits, including:

• Faster speeds. LTE technology is capable of delivering mobile broadband speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G. Customers can stream, download, upload and game faster than ever before.

• Faster response time. LTE technology offers lower latency, or the processing time it takes to move data through a network, such as how long it takes to start downloading a webpage or file once you’ve sent the request. Lower latency helps to improve services like mobile gaming, two-way video calling and telemedicine.

• More efficient use of spectrum. Wireless spectrum is a finite resource, and LTE uses spectrum more efficiently than 3G, creating more space to carry data traffic and services and to deliver a better network experience.

• Cool new devices. AT&T offers several LTE-compatible devices, including new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets.

“We continue to see demand for mobile broadband skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in Leawood responds to what customers want from their mobile experience — more, faster, on the best devices,” said Nancy Garvey, vice president and general manager for AT&T’s Greater Midwest Region.

AT&T 4G LTE Devices AT&T offer ... (go to www.leawoodchamber.org for more information)
