Through our partnership with Shawnee Mission Medical Center, should a patient be deemed at risk for high blood pressure or cholesterol, we can directly schedule a follow-up appointment with a primary care provider for further evaluation.”

In June, KCP&L announced the site locations for 10 electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) stations that would be placed in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
According to KCP&L, “EVSE stations are referred to as electric vehicle charging stations and these stations are funded by U.S. Department of Energy award DE-EE0002538, an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant project administered by Metropolitan Energy Center.”
Leawood’s Park Place was one of the 10 sites selected, and has since had two charging stations put in place.
While out and about last week, Leawood Chamber President Kevin Jeffries was able to snap a picture of one of the charging stations being used.

“It is fantastic to see that the charging stations are being utilized. We are thrilled that Park Place was selected as an EVSE site and we look forward to seeing this type of technology becoming more readily available and used.”
