Lee McSparran has been promoted to Vice President at Turner Construction Company. He is currently the Chief Estimator and Preconstruction Manager for Turner’s Kansas City Business Unit, responsible for all preconstruction services, including estimating and cost control duties on all preconstruction projects in the five-state region of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Colorado.
McSparran has been with Turner Construction for 28 years. A graduate of Colorado State University, McSparran earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is also a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
On January 29th, IBT Media began their journey for a video shoot aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. As part of the History Channel's ongoing Modern Marvels series, the IBT group, along with full video equipment, landed on the deck of the huge US Navy aircraft carrier.
The segment will be included in the third episode of the "world's strongest" series. The scenes shot by IBT will highlight the four deck edge elevators on the carrier. Each elevator can lift two aircrafts from the hangar to the flight deck in seconds. The episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, March 6th.
