2007 State of the County Address

The Leawood Chamber of Commerce and the Johnson County Chairman of the Board Annabeth Surbaugh cordially invite you to attend the 2007 State of the County Address. In conjunction with the Johnson County Public Policy Council. This will also be a great opportunity to network with members and other chambers throughout the area.

The cost is $28 / person, or $275 for a table of 8. Advanced reservations and payment are required. Please RSVP and send payment by 5pm on Tuesday, March 20th. We are unable to refund on cancellations received after the registration deadline. Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate walk ups at this event. 10th Annual 'A Taste of Leawood' Event

One of the area`s best events now entering its tenth year!  Enjoy a casual evening of culinary splendor from the area`s finest restaurants under the stars in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard. 

The sounds of the Dan Doran Band will fill the air as patrons enjoy wines, spirits and tantalizing selections from many area restaurant menus.  We expect a crowd of 600 people to enjoy music and samplings of the Leawood area`s finest cuisine, beverages and spirits in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard on Saturday, June 16th.

 Atlanta Bread Company has added more options to their menu!  New food selections include: Ciabatta Bread, Turkey Club Rustica (served on the ciabatta bread with a sundried tomato pesto), Cajun Tuna Melt, Wraps (the Avacado, Bacon, Turkey, with dill spread is the most popular), & Sour Cream Crumble Coffee Cake.

Atlanta Bread also provides weekly specials.  On Sunday they have a discount on wine, Monday is Kids Night and Thursday is  Family Night.

The Leawood Chamber of Commerce strives to provide great service to our members, and we're always interested in hearing feedback as a way of guaging the effectiveness of our programming.

A representative of a local retirement community says that she "has heard several people say lately that the Leawood Chamber of Commerce is their favorite.  While other chambers are too big, or too small, the Leawood Chamber is just right!"
