Todd Adams will be our speaker for April. Todd is the Vice President of Sales with Sporting KC (formerly The Wizards). Sporting Kansas City enters the organization’s 16th year in Major League Soccer riding a wave of development on and off the field. Two changes heading into the 2011 season represent perhaps the most momentous in the club’s history.
The organization is currently putting the finishing touches on its new $200 million dollar, world-class soccer stadium, opening in June 2011 near Village West in Kansas City, Kansas. After 15 seasons without a permanent home, including 12 seasons at a stadium built for football and three seasons at a stadium built for baseball, the team will now call America’s finest soccer facility home.
Please plan to attend so you can hear more........

Legislative Report for the Leawood Chamber of Commerce
End of the 2011 Regular Session of the Kansas Legislature
April 1, 2011, from Bob Vancrum, Consultant
Confounding nearly every prediction made, the Kansas House passed a 2011/2012 budget (HB2383) on March 31, 2011, close to midnight. Both houses have now adjourned taking no action on their respective budgets in conference committee.
