The Leawood Foundation, the Historic Commission and the Art in Public Places Initiative of the Leawood Arts Council will dedicate "Praire Lessons" a life-sized bronze sculpture to honor educators.

Raising Future Leaders is a local grassroots project aimed at providing relief to children in Africa who have lost their parents to AIDS.
Rasing Future Leaders will be throwing a party in Leawood City Park to celebrate the last day of school with bouncers, sno-cones, cotton candy, games, etc.
100% of the proceeds will benefit our project in Zimbabwe.
