'A Taste of Leawood,' one of the area's premier events, is now entering its tenth year! Enjoy a casual evening of music, spirits and culinary splendor from the area's finest establishments under the stars in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard.
The sounds of the Dan Doran Band will fill the air as patrons enjoy wines, spirits and tantalizing selections from the following: 40 Sardines, Atlanta Bread Company, Bonefish Grill, BRAVO! OVERLAND PARK, Kan.— On Sunday, June 3, 2007, SAFEHOME will hold its 15th Annual June Jubilee, “The Magic Is You,” to benefit the women and children who are clients of Johnson County’s only provider of services for victims of domestic violence.
The “The Magic Is You” Jubilee includes dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and a short program.
Irv Robinson is the Honorary Chair of the event. Irv Robinson is the CEO of Robbie Manufacturing, Inc., a successful supplier of printed plastic packaging for the food, beverage and consumer goods industries. He and his business have supported SAFEHOME for the past 15 years, and recently helped raise $6.2 million in a Capital Campaign for SAFEHOME's new facility. He is also involved in a number of other fundraising campaigns in the Jewish Community and donates his time and resources to other charitable organizations, such as Harvesters, University Academy, Breast Cancer Research, KU Hillel, and Sunflower House.

Raising Future Leaders is a local grassroots project aimed at providing relief to children in Africa who have lost their parents to AIDS.
Rasing Future Leaders will be throwing a party in Leawood City Park to celebrate the last day of school with bouncers, sno-cones, cotton candy, games, etc.
