A Taste of Leawood 2006

One of the area`s best events now entering its ninth year! Enjoy a casual evening of culinary splendor from the area`s finest restaurants under the stars in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard.
The jazzy blues sounds of the Dan Doran Band will fill the air as patrons enjoy wines, spirits and tantalizing selections from many area restaurant menus. We expect a crowd of 600 people to enjoy jazz and samplings of the Leawood area`s finest cuisine, beverages and spirits in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard on Saturday, June 17th from 7pm to 11pm.

Join Leawood Chamber members and guests for breakfast, a great time networking and education. This month we will also introduce our newest Chamber members in our quarterly "Chamber Debut". Each attendee will receive a business card and a desciption from each business that has joined the Leawood Chamber in the past 90 days. You'll have a chance to associate each new member business with the person(s) representing that business.
Our program will also feature "Super-Charged Networking". A portion of the time at this event will be dedicated solely to networking with the attendees seated at your table. We make every effort to seat you with others who are not in your industry, maximizing your ability to gain quality networking time.
Last but not least, we'll be demonstrating some of the exciting new features of the Chamber's web site, including the Community Calendar and the News and Announcments section.

Ozanam & Epilepsy Foundation Golf Classic

Ozanam/Epilepsy Foundation of Kansas and Western Missouri Golf Classic event is to support the children and families of Ozanam, and to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation.
This Golf Classic includes a silent auction, 4-person scramble, great contests and prizes, lunch, cocktails, and more! Tickets cost $250 per person or $1,000 per team. Sponsorships are still available.
Since 1948, Ozanam has helped thousands of children with emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities through family-focused therapy. Ozanam offers complete residential and day treatment programs, group home living, independent living services, and behavior consultation services to more than 30 local and regional school districts.
