If you enjoy original art, food and music, then you will not want to miss the 9th Annual Town Art Show!
This year, the Town Art Show will display original art presented by 130 Artists who will compete against one another for thousands of dollars in prize money. After the award process, the show will open to the public starting on Friday June 15 through Sunday June 17, when the Artists offer for sale the works presented in the competition. The Art Show will take place at Town Center Plaza in Leawood Kansas. A food court will be provided, so visitors can enjoy food and beverages while walking the aisles.
The official hours are as follows:
Friday, June 15 - 4:00pm to 8pm
Saturday, June 16 - 10:00am to 8pm
Sunday, June 17 - 10:00am to 5:00pm
All booth and jury fees paid by the participating artists as well as all charitable contributions raised at the Show will be passed on to the benefactor; The Parkinson's Association of the Heartland. A number of gifts donated from participating artists will be disbursed via a drawing available to all those who attend the show. All proceeds from the drawing go to Parkinson Foundation as well.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.— On Sunday, June 3, 2007, SAFEHOME will hold its 15th Annual June Jubilee, “The Magic Is You,” to benefit the women and children who are clients of Johnson County’s only provider of services for victims of domestic violence.
The “The Magic Is You” Jubilee includes dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and a short program.
Irv Robinson is the Honorary Chair of the event. Irv Robinson is the CEO of Robbie Manufacturing, Inc., a successful supplier of printed plastic packaging for the food, beverage and consumer goods industries. He and his business have supported SAFEHOME for the past 15 years, and recently helped raise $6.2 million in a Capital Campaign for SAFEHOME's new facility.
