If you would like these tickets before the event, you may pick them up at the Chamber office, located at 13451 Briar, Suite 201, Leawood, KS 66209, before 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 10th. After 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 10th, tickets will no longer be available online.
Tickets (if available) will also be available the night of the event at WILL CALL.

On Sunday, June 12, 2011, SAFEHOME will host its 19th Annual June Jubilee to benefit the women and children who are clients of Johnson County’s only provider of services for victims of domestic violence. The theme for this year’s event is “Dream a Little Dream” and will take place at the Doubletree Hotel Overland Park, 10100 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
June Jubilee will feature a gourmet dinner, live and silent auctions, and a short program. Tickets for the event are $125 per person. Charles and Jacqueline Sullivan serve as honorary chair couple. The Sullivan’s strongly believe that every woman and child should live “in an environment free from abuse….and feel the best way for children to heal is for their mother to take herself and her children out of the path ….of their abuser.”
Mike Thompson, Chief Meteorologist, WDAF-TV/Fox 4 will serve as emcee and 99.7 the Point’s Tanna Guthrie will serve as auctioneer for this year’s event.

The non-profit National Private Duty Association (NPDA), along with Comfort Keepers Home Care of Greater Kansas City is hosting a consumer education web conference. It will provide advice on how to design and furnish a home to create a safe environment for a senior aging at home.
Katrina Segers with SpeedPro Imaging is asking fellow Leawood Chamber members for their help in providing much needed supplies to the close to 1,200 animals that have been displaced in Joplin, MO due to the recent tornado.
Segers is collecting donations for the Joplin Humane Society and is taking a load down on Saturday, June 25th. Donations will be accepted through Friday, June 24th and need to be dropped off at at the SpeedPro Imaging office located at 11271 Strang Line Road, in Lenexa no later than 5 p.m. Any old blankets, towels or bowls would be much appreciated. The Humane Society is also in need of flea and tick treatment for the animals, so cash donations or checks made out to Joplin Humane Society are also acceptable.
