'A Taste of Leawood,' one of the area's premier events, is now entering its eleventh year! Enjoy a casual evening of music, spirits and culinary splendor from the area's finest establishments under the stars in the Leawood City Hall Courtyard.
The Leawood Chamber is pleased to announce that a new band, Souled Out, will be performing at this year's event. Patrons will enjoy tantalizing cuisine from new area restaurants along with area favorites, all at one location!

More than 130 artisans from throughout the country will participate in the 10th annual "Town Art Show" at Town Center Plaza. This year's show is once again designed as a strolling art show where customers may start at one location and walk the entire circular layout.
Mediums represented at the show include water color and oil canvas works, glassware, tile creations, metal works, ceramics, jewelry, photography, fabric décor and wearable art. Amenities such as food vendors, live music and activities for children will be available throughout the entire show.
Thanks in part to the funds raised from the Town Art Show, the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland is able to offer programs such as a wellness center, exercise groups, speech classes, medication assistance and much more.
This event will be held rain or shine Friday, June 13 from 4 - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am - 5pm.
