CorporateCare Now Scheduling On-Site Flu Vaccination Clinics for Employers

The flu can impose a considerable economic burden for employers, contributing to increased health care costs and lost productivity. However, Shawnee Mission Medical Center’s CorporateCare Occupational Medicine Network can help prevent the flu from impacting your workforce with a 2010 on-site flu vaccine clinic.

Studies have shown the total number of lost workdays attributed to influenza-like illness is 28 percent lower for individuals who received the flu vaccine. In addition, total savings were estimated at $83.84 per person vaccinated, including productivity gains and reduced use of medical care and prescription drugs.

Help protect your employees and your bottom line by scheduling an on-site flu vaccination clinic with CorporateCare. Special pricing is available for employers who schedule by August 31. For more information or to schedule an on-site clinic, contact Shay Carlson at shay.carlson@shawneemission.org or 913-789-4087.
