District 3 Johnson County Commissioner Forum

The first 50 kids to participate in the bike rodeo (Bring your bikes!) will receive a free bicycle helmet courtesy of the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City.

Kid's health and safety activities with health screenings for adults too!

This workshop helps entrepreneurs understand the process of raising capital. Topics covered include traits necessary for raising capital, angel investors (who are they and what do they look for in an investment), federal and state securities laws, Regulation D, private placement memorandums, and subscription documents. Additionally, the workshop covers potential deal-breaker issues and post-closing considerations.

Tide Dry Cleaners Opens Flagship Store in Leawood!

Tide unveiled the first-ever Tide Dry Cleaners and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 4th!

At the ceremony we learned how Leawood was carefully selected to be the home of Tide Dry Cleaner's flagship store. We welcome them to our community and wish them great success!

On September 5th we welcomed Natural Body Spa and Shoppe to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony!

Natural Body Spa and Shoppe is located in the new One Nineteen development. While they have stores throughout the country, this is their first in the Kansas City area. They provide spa services including facials, manicures, waxing, pedicures and body treatments.

Swim Quik is accepting applications for a retail manager. Must have experience in fashion retail. Must be motivated and dependable and enjoy working with customers.

Main responsibilities include customer service, merchandising products and displays, managing sales staff, maintaining a positive shopping environment, and assisting with preparation of product for the sales floor.

Muffins and Mammograms at Menorah Medical Center

Every Saturday in October, join Menorah Medical Center for Muffins and Mammograms from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Menorah is located at 5721 W. 119th Street in Overland Park.  Use Entry B.

Appointments and walk-ins are available and free pastries will be provided while you wait.
