SAFEHOME is in the last stages of its first capital campaign in its 26-year history to raise funds to renovate a former hotel. The facility allows SAFEHOME to increase shelter capacity from 29 to 40 beds, and eventually 60 beds.
SAFEHOME needs to raise $322,742.00 to reach its’ $5.7 million goal. Tax credits are still available, but they are going fast!
Please continue to keep SAFEHOME's campaign in your thoughts. SAFEHOME is so close to reaching its goal, and know that this community will continue its support of such a worthy project that can help so many people escape the horror of abuse and violence.
If you are interested in donating to the Capital Campaign please contact Shelly Doucet at 913-378-1516 or sdoucet@safehome-ks.org.
